Pennsylvania Dutch meals are known for hearty dishes that use farm fresh ingredients. As German speaking settlers made their home in southeastern Pennsylvania in the late 1600's to early 1800's, they brought with them their traditional recipes from home and blended it with local ingredients. Today we will prepare some of their more famous dishes such as chicken pot pies and fastnachts and serve up a satisfying family-style meal!
